Although we stock more than 9,000 line items in our New Zealand and Australian warehouses, we’re continually creating new products for emerging needs. In fact we’ve earned quite a reputation for it.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for, why not talk to us about a customised solution? We enjoy a challenge. We’ll work with you on the design and arrange for it to be manufactured within your required timeframe.
We were the first to introduce patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps and sets to New Zealand. They were originally marketed under the Bard MedSystems brand and we’ve now placed more than 300 of these pumps in New Zealand hospitals.
Sterile swabable needleless connector
REM SYSTEMS were first to introduce a sterile swabable needleless connector to New Zealand and Australian hospitals. They’re available as either a standalone component or integrated into IV sets and extension sets.
DEHP-free IV sets
Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) is a softener used to increase the flexibility of PVC. DEHP has been shown to cause a variety of reactions in laboratory animals. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has a number of warning statements on DEHP, which can be found on their website.
REM SYSTEMS were first to introduce non-DEHP PVC IV sets and extension sets to New Zealand and Australian hospitals.
Latex-free IV sets
The allergic reaction some people have to the protein in latex has been well documented. We were the first to introduce latex-free IV sets and extension sets.
