BRIAN WILSHER
Director, New Zealand & Australia
After gaining his NZCS (Biol) and working as a laboratory technician, Brian moved into a medical sales position with Smith Biolab in 1975. He then spent five years with McGaw Ethicals before joining REM SYSTEMS in 1983.
Brian became a company director in 1992 and is in charge of Electrosurgery, Orthopaedic, Radiology, Cardiovascular and Urology sales for the New Zealand and Australian companies.
Although it’s challenging work and long hours, Brian says he enjoys the pressure of his role.
As an enthusiastic rugby and cricket fan, Brian frequently attends matches with his two sons and daughter.
Brian has an extensive classical music collection and his love of theatre and opera singing has culminated in roles in community theatre productions.
Brian enjoys gardening and trips to his beach property in North Auckland where he actively pursues a keen interest in fine dining and fishing.
